Dirk Lee was an associate of Lucas Luthor.
Early life[]
Dirk Lee was born in China, where he became involved in the criminal organization known as the Dragons. He eventually left for the United States, while he was under investigation for his involvement in multiple murders in Beijing, along with gambling scams in Hong Kong.[1]
Season Two[]
In 2003, Dirk helped Lucas Luthor cheat in a poker game, with the aid of a video camera, in a seedy hall in Edge City. Dirk was discovered and captured by Chinese gangsters, while Lucas escaped under gunfire. Dirk later encountered Lucas again, in Smallville, where Dirk tried to gun him down. However, Lucas was saved by Clark Kent. Dirk got away, but was arrested in Metropolis. While in custody of the Metropolis Police Department, Dirk mysteriously died. Clark suspected that Lionel Luthor had Dirk killed, but had no evidence. Lex Luthor later revealed to Lucas that Dirk had been on Lionel's payroll the whole time, and that the whole thing in Edge City had been staged by Lionel.
