Dee is a long-time employee of the Queen family.
Oliver Queen Chronicles[]
Dee began working for the Queen family, in their home, prior to the death of Robert and Laura Queen in 1989. After their death, Dee seemingly became a mother figure to their son, Oliver. In 1998, Dee attended Oliver's graduation from Excelsior Academy, where she assured him that his parents would be so proud of his graduation. Dee later saw Oliver off, when he set out to travel the sea (which ended with Oliver ending up on an island). When Oliver returned to Star City, he was reunited with Dee.

- While the episode Toxic rendered the island segments of the Oliver Queen Chronicles non-canon, all of Dee's scenes are still canon (due to her appearing in the first two episodes + a brief epilogue, after Oliver's made it off the island).
- Dee's exact function in the Queen household is unclear. As she's shown to still be living in Oliver's home, she is presumably not his former nanny. It is possible that she is their butler (serving a similar function to Alfred Pennyworth in the Wayne family household) or something.
- Dee never appeared on Smallville.
