Daniel Potter, Sr. was the father of Louise McCallum, and the great-grandfather of Lana Lang.

Biography

Little is known about the life of Daniel Potter. At some point he married Emily Potter, with whom he had five children: Danny, Louise, Angela, Gena, and Kathryn. Louise had dreams of going to Hollywood, and become a movie star. However, when Daniel learned about this, he quickly fixed Louise up with Dex McCallum, telling Dex what a great wife Louise would make. In the end, Louise gave in and married Dex. Daniel outlived Louise, who was killed in 1961. It is unknown if Daniel was still alive by the early 2000s.
