Season Two[]
One day, Kawatche activist Joseph Willowbrook came to the construction site and objected to the construction on the land of Willowbrook's ancestors. Hammond ordered Willowbrook off the property. Later that night, Hammond was filling the vehicles with gasoline when he heard a noise coming from the trees. He fetched and loaded a flare gun just before a beautiful white wolf came out of the darkness and jumped him, knocking him to the ground. A vehicle was overflowing with gasoline when Hammond fired the flare up into the air. The wolf ran away as the flare fell back to the ground and ignited the gasoline, killing Hammond.

A recurring Superman character named Dave Hammond first appeared in Action Comics #404 (September, 1971). Hammond went to college with Clark Kent, and went on to become a lawyer.
