Council Member #2 was a member of the Ruling Council, the leaders of Kryptonian society.
Biography[]
During the civil war against Black Zero, she and the other members of the Ruling Council ordered the usage of technology created by Jor-El to create an army of clones (that would be created on Earth, should Krypton ever fall). When Jor-El attempted to stop them (in an effort to protect humanity), he was put on trial for treason. The members of the council were ready to punish Jor-El by death, but Major Zod convinced the council to change their minds. Instead, the council ordered Jor-El to include his own DNA, and that of Zod, so that the clones would be led by their best. The Council Member presumably died with the rest of Krypton, 20 years later, or in the years between the war against Black Zero and the war against General Zod.

- The character's name was never established. The Ruling Council and their appearance heavily reference the council in Superman: The Movie. In the film, the one female member of the council was named "Vond-Ah". As the name of Marilyn Norry's character is never established, it is unknown if she is Smallville's version of Vond-Ah.
