Caroline was present at the Smallville High graduation, where she got her diploma. However, the ceremony was interupted by the announcement that a meteor shower was going to hit Smallville in three hours.

- The name "Caroline Dreats" is similar to the name of Smallville writer Caroline Dries.
- When she accepts her diploma, she waves to a section of the audience. A man and a woman, sitting in the front row, waves back to her. Presumably, these are Caroline's parents, with some or all of the children sitting next to them being Caroline's younger siblings.
