Buddy Brown is the City Editor for the Daily Planet.
Season Nine[]
Buddy Brown went into the Daily Planet bullpen one night, demanding to know if Lois Lane had finished her assignment. Lois (then affected by Gemstone kryptonite) responded by quiting her job.
Appearances[]
Notes[]
- Buddy Brown seemingly replaces Randall Brady as the City Editor in the episode Persuasion. However, in later episodes Conspiracy, Escape and Upgrade, Randall Brady is mentioned (and not Buddy Brown). When Clark and Lois meet new editor Franklin Stern in Charade, Clark Kent remarks that the Daily Planet has gone through a lot editors lately, while Lois makes a quip about how the editor position is like a revolving door with people spinning a wheel of fortune to get the job. This would indicate that Buddy Brown was one of several editors that the newspaper had recently been going through in 2010, rather than a permanent replacement for Randall Brady. It also indicates that Buddy Brown (and, potentially, Randall Brady) no longer works at the Daily Planet by the events of Charade (or, in Buddy Brown's case, Escape).
