Brendan Nash was a metahuman teenager who was a student at Smallville High School.

Powers and Abilities

He had the ability to freeze people and turn them into wax. He could also turn them back.

Upon his death, the frozen people turned back to normal.

Early life

His father was the owner of a construction company.

Brendan had a fear of leaving Smallville High after graduation, because he feared the future. Because he wasn't accepted into any colleges, he was in danger of ending up working at the local video store. He coerced his father into making a replica of Smallville High's interior inside one of his factories, threatening to turn his wife into a statue. It was essentially a doll house where he could pretend to still be in high school, the one place where he had everything.

Season Four

He kidnapped six fellow students: Haley Timmonds, Lisa Mason, Wendell Johnson, Delia Watkins, Chloe Sullivan, and Lana Lang, and placed them in his Smallville High. He kept a close watch over them and had them play along like they were still in school. He threatened to turn them into statues if anyone did not go along with it. When Chloe, Lana and Haley attempted to escape, Brendan caught them and decapitated Haley. However, Clark Kent and Lois Lane came to the rescue. Brendan managed to turn Lois into a wax statue, but when he tried to do the same to Clark, it didn't work due to his Kryptonian nature. Instead, Brendan's power reflected back onto him, turning himself into a wax statue, which fell off the staircase and got smashed. With Brendan dead, his waxified victims revived.

• According to the High School Yearbook, Brendan was the most likely to "Stay in Smallville forever".
• The motives behind his actions are similar to Chrissy Parker's, in which they use their powers to preserve youth; turning people to wax figures, in Brendan's case, and absorbing their vitality in the latter's.
