Bernie, Kansas is a town in the United States of America. It is known as shopper's paradise, with its outlet malls like Averheiden & Dries Outlet. According to Lana Lang, Bernie makes the town of Smallville look downright overcrowded.[1]

Chloe Sullivan and Lana Lang went to Bernie, intending to do some shopping at the town's outlet malls. While there, they were both under the influence of an enzyme extracted from the Parasite worms found in the Kawatche Caves, and went on a rampage. Lex Luthor paid for all the damages, keeping the situation from becoming a court case against the two girls.[1]
