Berger was a student at Smallville High School and member of the Smallville Crows.
Season Four[]
Like the other Smallville Crows players, Ken was cold to newcomer Clark Kent (when Clark became quarterback, replacing their friend, Danny Cormay). However, he decided to save Clark's new football jersey from the toilet (which the other player wanted to put it in). When Clark arrived in the locker room, Berger gave the jersey to Clark, telling him that he owes him one.
