Like many other young Smallville women, Amy Paris entered the "Miss Sweet Corn" pageant in 2007. However, Amy lost to newcomer Kara Kent.

- The character's name is established by the pageant Emcee during the swimsuit competition.
- Sahar Biniaz portrayed several other characters on Smallville. Her most notable was as Shayera Hall/Hawkgirl in the Season Ten episode Shield.
- Sahar Biniaz also portrayed an unnamed Girl on Oliver Queen's plane in Identity, and an unnamed Fight Club Attendee in Crossfire. It is unknown if one or both is Amy Paris.
